What is the purpose of tarot and oracle cards?

Tarot and oracle cards are tools for meditation, spiritual growth, and self-exploration. Tarot cards have been around for centuries, and are traditionally used to gain insight into the past, present, and future. Oracle cards are a newer form of divination, and can be used for gaining insight into any area of life.

Tarot cards are usually composed of 78 cards divided into two parts: the Major Arcana and the Minor Arcana. The Major Arcana consists of 22 trumps that represent archetypal energies that are found in every human experience. The Minor Arcana consists of 56 cards that represent everyday events and experiences. The cards of the Minor Arcana are further divided into four suits: Wands, Cups, Swords, and Pentacles. Each suit represents a different area of life: Wands represent creativity and passion, Cups represent emotions and feelings, Swords represent communication and intellect, and Pentacles represent material possessions and physicality.

Oracle cards are a newer form of divination, and can be used for gaining insight into any area of life. Oracle cards are usually composed of 44-54 cards that represent various aspects of life, such as relationships, career, health, spirituality, and more. Oracle cards are usually less structured than tarot cards, and the interpretation of the cards is more open to the user’s intuition.

Tarot and oracle cards can be used to gain insight into any area of life. They can be used to gain clarity on difficult decisions, to gain insight into a particular situation, or to gain a better understanding of oneself. Tarot and oracle cards can also be used to uncover hidden truths and to gain a greater understanding of the world around us.
