In the mountains and mists of faraway Transylvania, Jonathan Harker, a newly qualified young solicitor sent in business from England, meets his latest client- the wealthy, courteous, articulate and well-read Count Dracula. Within a few days of his arrival, however, he begins to see a darker, more sinister side to his host, and soon the true nature of Dracula is revealed to him in all its horror. Others, including those dearest to Jonathan, become entangled in Dracula's snare, and there follows a  race against time to rid the world of the terrible power of the Undead.
